I ordered for collection, turned up at the agreed time to be told I had to join the back of the queue and wait until everyone else was served. The burger I ordered was sat out on the counter for 20 minutes, the gentleman who prepared it clearly knew it was cold because the burger was put on top of fresh chips in the box to warm it up. Someone eventually called out my name for collection, I raised my hand and was shrugged at as if to say sorry its busy and waited another 10 minutes to get the food.

We are staying at the caravan park port seton, I ordered at 16,30 and asked for food to be delivered at 18.00 it never came till 18,40 so disappointed food for not good pizza was all dried out, I tried calling and she said nothing I can do we’re short staffed disappointed, I will never order anything from there again

Food took way longer than the 40 mins advised....ordered at 17.25 and received at 18.40. The delivery driver actually sat in his car outside talking to his wife/partner, no wonder the food was lukewarm at best. Part of my order consisted of "fresh" onion rings....nothing fresh about them as they clearly came out a freezer bag and consisted of 6...£4.50 what an absolute waste of money...oh and no onion inside just batter that had been flavoured with onion. We use Benes a lot but doubt we will return anytime soon

The staff came across as quite rude, which made for a disappointing experience. Despite ordering online, I was told I still had to wait in the general queue “for fairness”, which completely defeats the purpose of having an online ordering system. I waited over 25 minutes to collect my food. My pizza had been sitting on top of the pizza oven from the moment I arrived, but because I had to remain in the queue and the restaurant appeared to be understaffed, it was left there until I eventually reached the front. I appreciate that being short-staffed can make things difficult, but if customers who order online still have to queue with everyone else, there doesn’t seem to be any benefit to ordering ahead. It also meant my food had been sitting getting cold before it was finally handed to me.

My fish was totally overcooked and dry....

Will never order from here again, charged double then added another £5.50 for a price mistake on their part!! Price should be what it says once you pay online to collect, not add some more onto it when you collect....Shocking service!!

They didn’t have what I’d ordered online (scampi) but the manager was away and I could tell they were under pressure. Their positive manner in a busy shop was very impressive and they sorted us out with something just as good.

Garlic bread was stone cold. Carbonara tasteless watery sauce bacon was fatty and tasteless. A total disappointment.

The veg was poor quality, overall good but you could taste the veg was there for a while. First time this happened so maybe it is just a one off

Ordered food for me and my 2 kids, ordered at 18:10 and said 40m delivery on the website when I ordered. 19:45 later it comes, cold with the only thing warm was the chicken kebab as was wrapped in tinfoil. Best thing is I called the place to check when it was coming and was told yeah it’s left and I said I’ve not even told you who I am or my address so she asked me my address and said yeah it’s on its way. 25 mins from then it come, I’m probably 7-8mins away at the start of Musselburgh. Disappointed felt like asking for my Money back and to keep the food but my kids were starving so didn’t bother. I normally use the one in Prestonpans but was told port seaton was good, won’t be back.

The food came cold, and the curry sauce was so thick it came out the tub in one lump plus i ordered 2 only got 1. The chips seemed recooked and the fish looked like it had been in the heated unit for a long time, was very dry. This is not like Bene's, there food is normally brilliant. It won't stop me from ordering again though. sorry Carlo

Pizza order was wrong. Ordered Hawaiian with extra smoked sausage and fresh peppers. Pineapple and Ham was missing. Slight mix up on delivery, but the delivery person dealt with the issue without question and it was refreshing to see someone try their best to sort the issue, which she did.

Wrong juice sent with order, pakora was 5 greasy battered pieces of chicken which were tasteless and went in the bin. Will not order from benes again!!

This meal wasn't up to the standard we've had previously. My fish and chips were quite dry and didn't taste fresh. Only one kids meal was provided (in terms of box, juice, sweets and lolly) even though two were ordered. It felt a bit disappointing and I think we'll try elsewhere in future.

Food was ordered at 9pm didn’t arrive until 10.20 was freezing cold, no contact from the restaurant to state it was running late or anything! Absolute disappearance

No point ordering on line then turn up to a massive queue. Tried to ask if my order was ready and was barked at by the guy cooking, telling me not to jump the queue. Chips were reheated and dry. Poor quality. Won’t use again.

Cannot collect any more so had a delivery for the first time everything went to plan excellent service
